Discord Status
Overview
Show supported browser activity as Discord Rich Presence using the Activity Status Companion app.
Show your browser, app, game, or custom activity as Discord Rich Presence. Discord Status works with a small local companion app that connects to Discord desktop. Use it to show supported activity from YouTube, Netflix, Spotify, GitHub, ChatGPT, system apps, and more. Install both parts: 1. Chrome extension 2. Companion app Chrome extension: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/discord-status/ekobpekegflobmheipgceigkldggkakd Companion app: https://github.com/GSUS2K/discord-status/releases/latest The companion app runs from your menu bar or system tray. It is required because Discord Rich Presence works locally through Discord desktop. Supported activity includes media, browsing, productivity, manual custom status, activity selection, and optional system app detection. Quick tips: * Keep Discord desktop open. * Pin Discord Status to your Chrome toolbar. * If Discord shows disconnected, reopen Discord and reconnect from the companion. * If activity or thumbnails look wrong, refresh the page and check the selected mode. Activity data is sent to the local companion app on localhost so it can update Discord Rich Presence.
