DirectHireAI Copilot is the companion extension for directhireai.com — the job-search tool that finds roles 24-48 hours before they hit LinkedIn, then helps you apply with materials tailored to each one. This extension closes the loop. Once you approve a job in your DirectHireAI review queue, the extension takes over the data-entry slog of filling out that company's application form: ✓ Uploads your stored resume PDF or DOCX ✓ Pastes your tailored cover letter ✓ Auto-fills your name, email, phone, location, LinkedIn, GitHub ✓ Answers EEO disclosures based on your saved preferences ✓ Fills universal questions (privacy-policy consent, age, drug test willingness) with safe defaults ✓ Caches your free-text answers so the second application is faster than the first What it WON'T do: ✗ Auto-submit. You always click the final Submit button after reviewing. ✗ Read your passwords or browsing history. ✗ Apply to jobs you didn't approve. ✗ Share your application answers with other users. HOW IT WORKS 1. Sign up at directhireai.com, save your resume + structured profile 2. Approve a job in your /review-queue 3. Navigate to that job's posting page in your browser 4. The extension detects the page, fills the form, and shows a confirmation banner at the top with a Submit button 5. Review what was filled, fix anything wrong, then click Submit REQUIRES A DIRECTHIREAI ACCOUNT This extension is the application-submission half of the DirectHireAI product. It needs an active account at directhireai.com to function. A 5-day free trial is available; paid plans start at $29/mo. PRIVACY The extension only accesses: - Your DirectHireAI session token (read from directhireai.com) - Pages on the 6 supported ATS platforms (only when you visit them) - The DirectHireAI backend API (to read your queue + send submission audit) It does NOT access browsing history, passwords, other websites, or any data outside the supported ATS pages and directhireai.com itself.
