Overview

Dots and Boxes with teeth. Claim territory against a chain-hunting T-Rex AI. Three difficulties, three board sizes.

## Description Dots & Boxes with teeth. 🦕 vs 🦖 You lead the herbivore herd. The T-Rex wants your territory. Take turns drawing edges between dots — complete a box to claim it and move again. Most boxes when the board fills wins the valley. FEATURES • Three board sizes: 3×3 (quick snack), 5×5 (balanced hunt), 7×7 (full migration) • Three AI difficulties: – Hatchling: wanders at random. Good for learning the rules. – Raptor: grabs every box it can and avoids obvious giveaways. – Apex: a genuine Dots & Boxes opponent. It counts chains, and it will sacrifice boxes with the classic double-cross to keep control of the endgame. Beating it takes real strategy. • Lives in Chrome's side panel — play alongside whatever you're doing • Auto-saves after every move. Close the panel mid-game, come back later, the T-Rex waits. • Win/Loss/Draw record across sessions • Chain-capture friendly: complete a box, keep moving HOW TO PLAY 1. Click the toolbar icon to open the side panel. 2. Click any dashed edge to draw it. 3. Complete the 4th side of a box to claim it (🦕) and earn another turn. 4. Watch for chains — whoever opens a long chain usually feeds the other player. The Apex T-Rex knows this. Now you do too. PRIVACY No accounts. No ads. No analytics. Dots and Boxes is a classic pencil-and-paper game first published by Édouard Lucas in 1889. This is it, with dinosaurs. #DHSeaDev ## Single Purpose Play the board game Dots and Boxes against a computer opponent in Chrome's side panel. ## Permission Justifications | Permission | Justification | |---|---| | sidePanel | The game board and all controls are rendered in Chrome's side panel; this is the extension's only surface. | | storage | Saves the in-progress game, board-size/difficulty settings, and win/loss record locally (chrome.storage.local) so a game can be resumed after the panel is closed. | ## Privacy Practices Tab - Data collection: **does not collect or use data** — every category unchecked. - Remote code: **none**. - Verified against build v1.0.0: zero fetch/XHR/WebSocket in source; chrome.storage.local only. - No privacy policy URL required when nothing is collected; generate a static page if the form demands one.
