There are certainly some functionality gaps. The extension only works with a limited subset of GitHub inputs. Omitted are editing MD source files and wiki entries (probably two of the most complex use cases!).

Great extension! A WYSIWYG editor like this is needed for ALL web sites with comment input fields, if there is a way to detect if a website supports markdown input. Or perhaps the user could manage the allow list, like great suspender does.

Really would like to have <summary><details> macro, too.

Doesn't work on Wiki pages

If you use this, the "Generate release notes" button disappears from the release.

ESSENTIAL app for anyone working on GitHub. Good documentation = good software. The only downside is that it doesn't work on Android browser.

After using this for a longer time, I can't imagine using GH without this extension.

Very useful extension. It doesn't work in all situations, and some things are impossible to write (like a table in a bullet list)
