Digital Wellness Suite Website Tracker
Overview
Reports the currently focused tab's domain to the local Digital Wellness Suite app.
Digital Wellness Suite watches which apps and websites you use so it can enforce the limits and goals you set. This extension is the piece that makes websites visible to it — without it, Digital Wellness Suite only sees apps. What it does: Sends the domain of your active tab (for example youtube.com, not the full URL) to Digital Wellness Suite running on the same computer, so website time shows up in your Today and Trends views the same way app time does. Checks any site you've added to Watched Websites in Digital Wellness Suite's settings, and steps in before the page loads to ask whether you meant to open it, or to redirect you somewhere else. Enforces limits you've set on a site — daily time, session length, open count — by swapping in a blocked-page screen once you hit them. It only talks to Digital Wellness Suite on your own machine (127.0.0.1) and does nothing without it. If Digital Wellness Suite isn't running, the extension sits idle and retries later — no site you visit is ever blocked or altered on its own. Requires the Digital Wellness Suite desktop app, sold separately.
