Digital Carbon Footprint Score
Overview
Collect desktop browser telemetry for Digital Carbon Footprint Score and sync it to the paired mobile app.
Digital Carbon Footprint Score is a companion browser extension for the Digital Carbon Footprint Score mobile app. Use it to connect your desktop browser activity to your existing profile so the app can include desktop browsing behavior in your broader digital footprint view. What the extension does: - connects your browser to the Digital Carbon Footprint Score app with a one-time desktop code - keeps collecting desktop browser telemetry after the pairing page is closed - tracks browsing duration, page loads, estimated transfer size, and weighted video streaming time - syncs daily desktop telemetry to your paired profile so it can be reflected in your cross-device sustainability insights How it works: 1. Open `https://www.co2-score.online/web` 2. Get or paste your desktop code 3. Pair the desktop session with the mobile app 4. Let the extension keep syncing telemetry in the background while Chrome is running Important notes: - the extension is a companion to the Digital Carbon Footprint Score experience - telemetry collection continues after the pairing page is closed, but not after the whole browser is fully shut down - no sale of personal data
