digit is a notepad that does math. Write ordinary text and calculations in the same note. Any line that is math gets its result inline, instantly, as you type — everything else is just text. • Variables: rate = 1.07, then use rate anywhere below • Equation solving: a^2-4a+4=0 → (a, 2, 2); works numerically for sin(x)=0.5 style equations too • Functions and constants: sqrt, sin, log, gcd, mean, pi, e, phi, ... • last refers to the previous result; # starts a comment • Global variables shared across notes, with a per-note opt-out • Multiple notes, switchable from the toolbar popup Fast and private by design: • 100% offline — no network requests, ever • No background processes — nothing runs unless the popup is open • Only permission: storage (your notes, saved locally on your device) • Rust math engine compiled to WebAssembly (~170 KB) Your notes never leave your machine.
