Toggle between GitHub and DiffsHub with a single keyboard shortcut. DiffsHub (https://diffshub.com) is a fast viewer for public GitHub pull requests, commits, compares, and diffs. This extension jumps between a GitHub page and its DiffsHub counterpart — same path, query, and hash, just a different host — so you can read heavy diffs on DiffsHub and hop back to GitHub to comment, approve, or merge. HOW TO USE • Open any GitHub PR, commit, or compare page • Press Alt+Shift+D (Option+Shift+D on macOS) — or click the toolbar icon • You land on the same page on DiffsHub • Press the same shortcut to return to GitHub • You can also right-click any GitHub PR, commit, or compare link and choose "Open Link in DiffsHub" FEATURES • One shortcut, both directions • Preserves path, query parameters, and hash (e.g. #discussion anchors) • Works with .diff and .patch URLs too • "Open Link in DiffsHub" in the right-click menu for GitHub links • The toolbar icon is active only on pages that can be toggled — elsewhere it is grayed out and the shortcut does nothing • Optional: open the matching page in a new tab • Optional: when returning from DiffsHub to a pull request, land on the Files changed tab instead of the Conversation tab • Customize the shortcut at chrome://extensions/shortcuts PRIVACY This extension does not collect user data or send it to the developer. Your settings are stored with Chrome's extension storage and may be synced between your devices by Chrome when browser sync is enabled. The toolbar icon's active/grayed state and the link context menu item are driven by URL patterns matched inside the browser, without exposing your browsing to the extension. The extension does not monitor your browsing; only when you explicitly invoke it does it read the active tab's URL (or, for the context menu, the clicked link's URL) to replace the hostname between github.com and diffshub.com. NOTES • DiffsHub currently supports public GitHub repositories. For private repositories the DiffsHub page may not render — just press the shortcut again to return to GitHub. • This is an unofficial extension and is not affiliated with DiffsHub or GitHub.
