Overview

Compare two texts line by line. Added and removed lines are clearly marked; counts shown at a glance. Fully local.

When you need to spot what changed between two versions of a config file, an email draft, a piece of YAML or a query — paste the original into one box, the modified version into the other, and read the diff. It runs entirely in the popup, with zero network access. Key features: - Two textareas (Original / Modified) with a third panel showing the rendered diff - Each line is tagged `+` (added) or `-` (removed); unchanged context shown in grey - Live `+N / -M` counters so the size of the change is obvious at a glance - "Identical" notice when both sides match exactly — no false-positive diff noise - "Sample" button loads a short before/after pair so you can see how it looks - "Copy diff" produces a plain-text unified-style block for pasting into chat or a ticket - Your last-typed Original and Modified are remembered locally so you don't lose work if the popup closes No data leaves your device. The diff is computed in the browser; nothing is uploaded.
