ItsMyServer — Persistent File Sharing

Share files or folders through separate persistent peer-to-peer links that reconnect when Chrome starts.

ItsMyServer lets you share individual files or complete folders from your computer through separate persistent links. Create multiple shares for different people or projects, and each link reconnects automatically when Chrome starts. How it works: • Sign up or sign in with a one-time email verification code. • Choose one or more files, or select a local folder. • Create a persistent link for that selection and send it to a viewer. • Create additional links with different files or folders without replacing existing shares. • Pause, resume, switch between, or delete shares independently. • Each viewer enters a name and must be approved for that specific share before file names or content are visible. • Approved viewers can browse, preview supported images, PDFs, text, audio, and video, or save files. Files transfer directly between browsers using encrypted WebRTC. ItsMyServer uses itsmyserver.com for authentication, share coordination, connection status, and signaling; file contents are not uploaded to or stored by ItsMyServer. The extension stores share configuration and selected local file or folder handles in Chrome so enabled links can reconnect after a browser restart. Chrome may ask you to approve local access again if operating-system permissions change. Designed for simple, owner-controlled sharing with clear viewer identity, per-link approval, and reusable links.
