Dictionary Lookup

)Overview
Look up any word in an inline frame with a simple click and without leaving the page.
This extension that allows you to quickly look up definitions of words and phrases in a clean inline box. The definitions come from Wiktionary, but have been preprocessed to reduce formatting and provide faster lookup. Hold a modifier key (Alt on Windows, Command on Mac, Ctrl on Linux) and double-click or select any word to look it up - an inline box will open to the dictionary entry of that word, usually including examples, audio pronunciation and synonyms. You can also lookup manually-entered queries using a shortcut which displays a small query form. NOTES: 1. After installing, pages already open will not work for looking up - just refresh them and it'll be solved. 2. The Chrome Extensions Gallery pages don't allow lookup (or any on-page extensions) for security reasons. 3. This extension does not add a toolbar icon. If it's gonna fetch left-wing propaganda from google dictionary anyway, then what's the point of this as a separate extension? Might as well just use google dictionary extension.

I love this extension. It works perfectly for me, it's quick, doesn't mess up, provides at least a basic definition for every word I've tried it on. All that said, I wish it had an additional feature. I think it would be handy to have a link to search Wikipedia for that word, somewhere beside the word itself, maybe beside where the audio file is linked. It can just say "Wikipedia" or "Search Wikipedia", and it'll open a new tab showing the search results for that word in Wikipedia.

Highly customizable. But for some words it doesn't show pronunciation, wonder why?
