Overview

Analyse emails received in your webmail with Sender Audit (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, IP reputation, spam score…).

Sender Audit shows, right in your inbox, whether each sender is properly authenticated, and audits any email's deliverability in one click, in Gmail and Outlook.com. In your Gmail inbox, without a click: • A coloured dot before each sender shows how well their domain is protected, as Gmail judged it: DMARC enforced, DMARC in monitoring mode only, no DMARC, or DMARC failure • Hover the dot for the details: SPF, DKIM and DMARC results, DMARC policy, displayed sender, return path and DKIM signing domain • In an open email, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and the DMARC policy appear next to the sender, along with the Sender Audit score if you already analysed it • Only email headers are read, directly from Gmail in your browser: nothing is sent to Sender Audit, and no account is needed One click for the full audit, in Gmail and Outlook.com: • Click "Analyse" in the toolbar or on any message of a thread: Gmail's or Microsoft's own SPF, DKIM and DMARC verdict shows at once, then the Sender Audit score out of 100 and our own authentication verdict • Choose where results appear: a card under the button, the browser's side panel with the full report next to your inbox (Chrome and Edge), or a new tab • The card closes by itself when you click elsewhere, press Escape or open another email What the full audit checks: • Authentication: SPF, DKIM, DMARC alignment and policy • IP reputation: blocklist checks across major RBLs • Spam score: SpamAssassin and Rspamd analysis • Content: HTML/text ratio, mixed content, suspicious patterns • Readability: subject length, body structure, link density • Headers: full trace, routing and TLS inspection • Visual preview: how the email renders in common mail clients Built for daily use: • Keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+A) and right-click menu • Results kept for 7 days: reopening an analysed email shows its result instantly, without using your quota • Remaining daily analyses shown in the extension popup • Available in English, French, German and Spanish, with a dark mode • Every feature can be adjusted from the popup settings Privacy: an email is only sent to Sender Audit when you click "Analyse", and it is processed in the European Union. Authentication dots, history and cached results stay in your browser. Works on Gmail (mail.google.com) and Outlook.com (outlook.live.com). Authentication dots work without an account; the full audit requires a free Sender Audit account, connected once from the extension popup.
