Quick Setup Before you can import your first magic item, D&D Beyond requires a "Homebrew Subclass" to act as a hidden container for custom spells. Anvil automates this: 1. Click the Anvil icon in your browser's toolbar (you may need to pin it first). 2. You will see a welcome screen prompting you to Initialize Subclass. Click the green button. 3. Anvil will automatically open a D&D Beyond tab and generate a placeholder subclass. Once the "Subclass successfully created!" popup appears, you are ready to import items!
