Overview
Keeps the sites you choose blocked, with a few short Unlocks a day.
Your feeds can wait. Not Every Second keeps the sites that pull you in closed until you decide to open them, for a few short Unlocks a day. HOW IT WORKS • Start with 7 popular social and video sites, and add any other site you want to keep blocked. • A blocked site turns its tab into the Block Screen. • Press Unlock, and every site on your list opens for 30 minutes. When the time is up, blocking comes back on its own. • You get 180 minutes of Unlocks a day. Unused time resets at midnight and doesn't carry over. YOUR LIST, YOUR TIME • Add a site by pasting its address, or start from the site you're on. Chrome asks you to allow access to each site you add. • Under Unlock time, choose how long each Unlock lasts, from 5 to 30 minutes, and how many minutes you get a day, up to 180. BUILT FOR WEAK MOMENTS • Adding a site takes effect at once. • Removing a site or turning blocking off takes effect the next day, so an impulse can't undo it. • Once today's Unlock time is used up, you can only add sites until tomorrow, and Unlock time can't be changed. BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR COMPUTER • Your Block List, Unlock time, and the minutes you use sync through your own Chrome account, like your bookmarks. Your computers share one day's Unlock minutes, and an Unlock on one opens your sites on all of them. • Not Every Second doesn't collect or record the pages you visit, and never sells your information. GOOD TO KNOW • Not Every Second is free. • To block sites in Incognito windows too, turn on "Allow in Incognito" in the extension's details.
