Overview

Enforces RBM per-domain No Upload policy in Chrome/Edge while RBM Cyber Security is running.

RBM Browser DLP is a browser-based Data Loss Prevention extension designed to work with the RBM Cyber Security desktop application. It helps organizations apply administrator-defined file upload restrictions to selected websites. Administrators can configure websites as “No Upload” in RBM Cyber Security, and RBM Browser DLP applies the corresponding restriction in the browser. Key features: • Administrator-configured website upload restrictions • Local DLP policy synchronization with RBM Cyber Security • Browser-to-desktop connection verification • Controls for supported file-selection upload actions • Controls for supported drag-and-drop file uploads • Controls for supported file-paste upload actions • Local communication with the RBM Cyber Security desktop application RBM Browser DLP communicates with RBM Cyber Security locally through 127.0.0.1. It does not require a cloud account to obtain the locally configured DLP policy. RBM Browser DLP is intended to be used together with the RBM Cyber Security desktop application.
