Generating fossa.me cert

Hi,

I tried with Chrome and Firefox app to generate a fossa cert but I end up with redirect_uri_mismatch from google as soon as I click on "sign in at fossa server to retrieve [the shared secret]".

I also uploaded my WiseID certificate and trusted their root ca and the correct ca note for my certificate but when I try to activate it for using it states "that is not a correct fossa certificate".

So I can't use certs which are not from fossa?

Is there a way that i can manually add the certificate of my recipient?

While adding my another email address in "to" address bar, i see that there is no certificate available for that email. SO, is there any way that i can upload a certificate for that recipient email, so that it works smooth?

MIME Email Exchanges

Hi Fossa team,

If ever I will add Fossa extension to enable mime emails in my gmail account, will the recipients that do not have Fossa add-on can read it? How can I enable seamless email (with mime) exchanges with non-fossa users?

Please help clarify.

Hi,

I installed the Fossaguard plugin. But when it comes to digitally signed e-mail, I can't open it. When I create a digitally signed mail, I can open it. Should this plugin be installed on both sides?

Certificate Storage

Hi,

One of your replies indicates that Certificates are synched when logging into a different Chrome browser. Does that mean private keys are kept in the cloud?

If a Google account is compromised then encrypted emails should at least be safe, but cloud Certificate storage would give them to the hacker too... better to make people take proper care of their keys!

Unable to access Extension Options Page in Chrome

Hello! I've tried installing the Fossa Guard Chrome extension on a Win10 Enterprise and MacOS Sierra platform, and in both instances I am unable to open the Options page for the Fossa Guard extension.. and I'm not certain how I am supposed to configure your product, if I can't get to the Options/Config page. Win10 is running Chrome Version 60.0.3112.90 (Official Build) (64-bit), and MacOS is running Version 59.0.3071.115 (Official Build) (64-bit). I'm not seeing anything published about this sort of issue.. so any help would be very much appreciated! Thank you, --Brian
