Overview

Filter noise on X, Reddit, YouTube, RedNote and HN, with reasons. Translate what sites don't; improve X's own translations.

ClearFlow makes comment sections readable again on X, Reddit, YouTube, Xiaohongshu (RedNote) and Hacker News. • Cleans up junk replies — spam and lead-generation bots, abuse and sexual content — and tells you why each one was hidden. Click to see it anyway; mark it when it got one wrong. • Hides content-free replies like "nice", "+1" or "following", with one line at the top of the comments to bring them back. • Merges runs of hidden replies into a single line; when a thread is full of junk, tucks it all away behind one summary line. • Learns from what you mark: hide a spam reply yourself and replies of the same kind — reworded, from other accounts, pushing the same scheme — are hidden too. Undo anytime. • Better translations: on Reddit, YouTube, RedNote and Hacker News, foreign-language posts and comments are translated into your language in place, with a switch back to the original. On X it enhances X's own translations: poor ones are replaced and author replies X skipped are filled in; posts X doesn't translate are left alone. • Turn it on or off per site, and choose cleaning and translation separately. Two ways to turn on the AI features. ClearFlow Membership: sign in with your email and it works, no API key needed. It starts with a 7-day free trial without a card, then costs $2.90 a month or $24 a year, or a one-time 30-day or 1-year pass. Or use your own key for OpenRouter, a service you sign up for and pay by usage: it passes replies to TypeSafe's Jev model for judging and text to a translation model, and the settings show what you've spent. With neither, only the built-in local rules run. Privacy: the comments and posts you're viewing on the supported sites are sent to be judged or translated (with your most recently marked spam replies as examples, if you've marked any). With your own key they go straight to OpenRouter (or TypeSafe) and nothing is sent to us. With membership they go through ClearFlow's server, which passes them on the same way and keeps only a cache of results; your account holds your email and usage counts. No analytics or tracking. Keys and history stay in your browser. Open source (MIT): https://github.com/remember2015/clearflow ClearFlow is not affiliated with X, Reddit, YouTube, Xiaohongshu or Y Combinator.
