Overview
AI tab groups for Chrome, with your own API key. Pick a lens, group in one click, undo in one click.
Too many tabs? Tab Declutter turns a busy Chrome window into a few clearly named tab groups in one click. How it works 1. Open the popup and choose how to group your tabs. 2. Click Group. An AI model reads your tab titles and addresses and suggests the groups. 3. Your tabs are grouped, named, and colored. If you don't like the result, one click on Undo puts everything back. Choose how to group • Project: tabs for the same goal, even across different sites. For example, "Berlin trip" or "Q3 report". • Topic: tabs about the same subject. • Session: tabs you opened or used around the same time. • Next step: sorts tabs into Act now, Read later, Reference, and Probably done. • Your own: write a rule in plain words. Keyboard shortcut Press Alt+Shift+G to group tabs with your last choice, without opening the popup. What it won't touch Pinned and split-view tabs stay where they are. Tabs that don't clearly fit stay ungrouped. Undo restores the previous order, group names, colors, and collapsed state. What you need Tab Declutter uses your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any OpenAI-compatible service. Your provider bills you for usage. Each grouping is one small request. Privacy Tab titles and addresses go only to the provider you choose, and only when you group. Query strings and page content are never sent. There are no accounts and no tracking.
