Tracely checks the credibility of what you write, while you write it. Every few seconds it reads your draft, flags sentences that are false, questionable, or don't make sense, and offers a one-click fix — with real sources you can cite. Like a grammar checker, but for whether your claims are true. WHERE IT WORKS • Google Docs — a floating widget checks your doc as you write. With the optional local companion app, fixes and citations write directly into the document. • Any website — Grammarly-style underlines in ordinary text boxes (Gmail, forums, editors), with in-place one-click fixes. • Nothing runs on any site until you enable it there with the toolbar button. WHAT IT COSTS Tracely uses your own Anthropic API key (paste it once in Options). Checking runs on the most economical model by default — a full essay costs a few cents. No subscription, no account, no middleman. PRIVACY, PLAINLY Your key is stored in Chrome's extension storage on your machine and sent only to api.anthropic.com. Your text is sent only to Anthropic for checking (or to your own localhost companion app). Sources come from free scholarly indexes.
