Overview

Screen grabs, element inspect and copy, color picker, emulation, request rules, cookies, HAR and every DevTools shortcut.

DevTools+ puts a web developer's everyday tools one click from the toolbar, on any page. Screenshots, an element inspector, emulation, request rules, cookies and storage, HAR files and every way into DevTools, without hunting through menus, flags and panels. CAPTURE • Screen grab, selection area grab, full page grab (scrolled and stitched) and full screen grab. • Element grab: pick one element and get exactly it, even when it's taller than the window. • Record the tab as a video, with its sound, for a bug report or a demo. Grabs are copied to the clipboard, saved as a file, or both. INSPECT • Inspect element: point at anything to see its box model, size, margin, padding, border, font, colors and WCAG contrast. Click to pin it and copy its text, HTML, Markdown, picture, CSS selector, XPath, JS path or styles. • Copy a container: pick any part of the page (↑ and ↓ widen and narrow the pick) and copy it in the format you need. • Color picker: any color on screen as HEX, RGB, HSL or OKLCH, with your recent colors and a contrast check. • Measure: crosshairs with the pointer's position, and drag to measure in pixels. • Page info: how the page will look when it's shared, how it's structured, how fast it loads and what it's built with, on one screen. • Accessibility check: the page against WCAG with axe-core, each issue with its impact, how to fix it and the elements, shown on the page. DEBUG • Open DevTools: every shortcut for your keyboard, and how to reach each panel. • Console errors: reload and record the page's errors and warnings, grouped by the site or extension each one comes from. • Record a HAR file of the tab's network traffic. • Emulate: see the page on a slow connection or a slower CPU, on a phone-sized screen, in dark mode, as it prints, or as someone with a color vision deficiency sees it, without leaving the tab. • Request rules: block, redirect or change the headers of requests in every tab, using Chrome's own rule engine. Turn off a site's CSP, allow CORS, stop caching, or load your local build of a script. • AI tools: Codex, Claude Code and GitHub Copilot one click away, or any AI product you choose. • Chrome's developer pages, from chrome://inspect to net-internals, one click each. THIS PAGE • Cookies and storage: see, edit, add and delete cookies (HttpOnly included), local storage and session storage. • Clear site data, hard reload, or empty the cache and reload. • Site switches: JavaScript, images, pop-ups, notifications, location, camera and microphone for this site. • Outline every element, a layout grid overlay, edit page text, and turn off CSS. • Hide page elements for good, zoom one part of a page, and mask personal details before a screenshot. UTILITIES • Encode and decode: start from the text you've selected on the page and convert it as you type, whether that's reading a login token, tidying a block of data or turning a timestamp into a date. • Clipboard inspector: every format on the clipboard, the HTML source included. • Open on your phone: a QR code of the page's address. • Resize the window to a screen size or a breakpoint, open the page in incognito, reload the extension you're building, and copy your browser and system details for a bug report. Right-click any element to inspect, screenshot, hide or copy it, and find a DevTools+ tab beside Styles in DevTools' Elements panel. POP IT OUT, MAKE IT YOURS • Pop the toolbar panel out into a window of its own that follows the tab you're on and stays open while you work. • Themes for the panel, the settings page and what the tools draw on a page: the URLflows Dark and Light. Then Seasons (Auto: current season, Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) and Holidays (New Year's, Valentine's Day, Halloween, Harvest, Winter Holidays). • An optional animation behind the toolbar panel: snowfall, falling leaves, spring petals or summer fireflies, or one that matches a season or holiday theme. Off by default, never on web pages, and always off when your computer asks for reduced motion. • About shows a 30-day performance history of the extension, kept on your computer. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything runs in your browser. Settings stay on your computer; grabs, recordings and HAR files go only to your clipboard or Downloads folder. Nothing is collected and nothing is sent anywhere. If you uninstall, Chrome opens a short feedback form; answering it is optional. Part of the URLflows family of extensions: https://urlflows.app/
