DevSpace Rescue

)Overview
Rescues stuck devspaces: unlocks locked parameter selectors (instance type, region, shell) so you can fix them and start again.
If your organization limits which cloud instance types devspaces may use, a devspace created earlier with a larger instance type can end up stuck: it can't start because its type is no longer allowed, but the settings page also disables its parameter selectors — instance type, region, shell — so you can't fix it either. Deadlock. DevSpace Rescue fixes this in one click: 1. Open your devspace's Settings → Parameters page (this is the only page the tool works on — it will point you there if you're somewhere else) 2. Click the DevSpace Rescue icon 3. Change any locked parameter to an allowed value and hit "Apply Fix" The extension lists every parameter on the page with its label, marks the locked ones, unlocks them, applies your chosen values the React-safe way (so the page's state updates correctly), and can click "Update and start/restart" for you. Parameters the server marks immutable are flagged with a warning, since the backend may reject changes to them. Privacy: it runs only on the tab where you click it (activeTab), requires no account, has no background activity, and collects no data whatsoever.
