DevRef is a small popup that lives in your toolbar with a searchable list of stuff developers look up constantly: git commands, regex patterns, HTTP status codes, everyday Linux/bash commands, VS Code + Chrome DevTools shortcuts, and markdown syntax. Type a couple letters in the search bar and it filters everything instantly. Click any entry and it copies straight to your clipboard — no more retyping from memory or hunting through old Stack Overflow tabs. There's also a "My Snippets" tab for saving your own commands or code. Those are stored locally in your browser and never leave your machine. What's included: Git — undo commits, rebase, stash, cherry-pick, force push safely, and more Regex — email, URL, password, hex color, slug, and other everyday patterns HTTP status codes — 200 through 503, with plain-English meanings Linux/Bash — find, grep, permissions, tar, process management, networking Shortcuts — VS Code and Chrome DevTools keyboard shortcuts Markdown — headings, tables, code blocks, links, and more No account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking.
