DevLens
Overview
See deeper into your network. Diff, correlate, schema-extract and visualize network requests.
DevLens is a Chrome DevTools extension built to make API debugging faster and less frustrating. HOW TO USE 1. Click the extensions icon and pin DevLens (optional but recommended) 2. Open Chrome DevTools on any page — press F12 on Windows/Linux or Cmd+Option+I on Mac 3. Look for the DevLens tab in the DevTools toolbar (you may need to click the >> arrow if tabs are collapsed) 4. Navigate to any page or trigger API calls — requests will appear in the left panel automatically Note: Clicking the DevLens icon in the browser toolbar does nothing. DevLens lives inside Chrome DevTools, not as a popup. It adds a powerful network inspection panel with features that are missing from the default Chrome Network tab, especially when working with large JSON responses and GraphQL APIs. Inspect requests and responses in a clean interactive JSON viewer, search across payloads, compare responses side by side, generate TypeScript interfaces from JSON, and visualize request timelines in one place. Key features include: * Interactive JSON tree viewer * Full-text search inside responses * Request and response diffing * GraphQL-aware request inspection * Timeline visualization for network calls * TypeScript interface and JSON Schema generation * Global search across captured traffic * Entity tracking for tokens, IDs, emails, and auth values DevLens runs entirely inside your browser. No accounts, no external servers, and no data collection.
