Overview
Your device inventory — Airtable, Google Sheets, Excel, Notion, or Supabase — in a sidebar on Apple Business Manager device pages.
Device Notes for ABM connects Apple Business Manager to the device inventory you already keep — in Airtable, a Google Sheet, an Excel workbook (Microsoft 365), a Notion database, or a Supabase table — so the information about a device appears right next to the device. WHAT IT DOES • Open any device in Apple Business Manager and a panel slides out with that device's record from your own database: assigned user, department, specs, purchase year, notes — whatever columns your table has. • Edit and save without leaving the ABM page. • If the device isn't in your database yet, you get a pre-filled form to add it in one click. • In the ABM inventory list, every serial number gets its device name added beneath it, so a page of serials becomes a page of names. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS The extension talks directly from your browser to your own database. There are no servers in between, no telemetry, no analytics, and nothing to sign up for. We never see your data. Full privacy policy: https://codertricks.com/abm/privacy WORKS WITH WHAT YOU HAVE • Airtable — personal access token; the form builds itself from your table's fields. • Google Sheets — sign in with Google and pick ONE spreadsheet in Google's file picker; the extension can't see any other file in your Drive. • Excel (Microsoft 365) — sign in with Microsoft and paste the workbook's share link. OneDrive or SharePoint, personal or work accounts. • Notion — integration token + database link; selects become real dropdowns. • Supabase — Postgres with a free tier; project URL, API key, table name. Any schema works. The only required column is the serial number; a Name column powers the labels. PRICING Viewing device info and the name labels are free forever. Editing and creating records is free for 14 days, then needs a license key: • Pro — $59/year per admin • Org — $199/year, one key for your whole team Buy at https://codertricks.com/abm/device-notes — activation instructions at https://codertricks.com/abm/activate WHO IT'S FOR IT admins and MSPs who manage Apple devices in Apple Business Manager and keep their inventory somewhere else.
