Desk Play

Treat any web page like a desk: rub it out with an eraser, roll it clean with sticky tape, or sweep the content into piles.

Ever wanted to just… rub a web page out? 🧽 Desk Play turns whatever page you're looking at into a messy desk, and gives you three cute little pals to clean it up. It's pure fidget-toy fun: no goals, no accounts, no pressure. Just squishy, satisfying, crumbly mess. 🧽 ERASER Rub back and forth and watch text fade a little with every pass, just like a real rubber eraser. It sheds bouncy little crumbs that get greyer the more ink you rub off. 🎞️ STICKY TAPE ROLLER Roll across the page to lift whole strips clean in one go. The roller picks up specks in the colors of what you grabbed and gets less sticky as it fills. When it's full, tear off a fresh sheet with a satisfying RRRIP! 🧹 BROOM Sweep words, icons and doodles across the page into tidy heaps while the background stays put. Then roll the pile up with tape or rub it away. ✨ WHY IT'S SO SATISFYING • Every tool is a little character that blinks, squints >_< while working, cheers when you hit a milestone, and naps if you wander off • Springy, squishy motion: tools squash, tilt and bounce as you move • Comic pop-ups like "scrub!", "swoosh!" and "RRRIP!" • Soft synthesized sound effects (press M to mute) • A clean meter that cheers you on with confetti at 25%, 50%, 75% and 95% clean 🎮 HOW TO PLAY Click the Desk Play icon (or press Alt+Shift+D) on any page Pick a pal: 1 = Eraser, 2 = Tape, 3 = Broom Click and drag to play. Scroll the wheel to change size Press R to bring the mess back, or Esc when you're done 🔒 HARMLESS BY DESIGN Desk Play only plays with a picture of your screen. The real page is never changed, so press Esc and everything is exactly where you left it. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or tracked. No accounts, no ads, no analytics. Note: Chrome doesn't allow extensions on some pages, such as chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store itself.
