Desk Buddy puts a small animated character above your ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini composer quietly doing its own thing while you work. Pick from three characters, each with own personality and a companion pet: • Bindle — folded paper, unhurried, proud of its work • Lumen — lantern-bearer, slow and ceremonial • Tock — three bars, sharp stepped motion, never smooth Over 50 hand-animated activities, work bits, and reactive moments — the character notices when code streams in, when a response is slow, when you're just chatting. Poke it for a reaction. Fully local. No accounts, no tracking, no network calls beyond the chat sites you already use. No ad content is fetched or shown by default. Respects reduced-motion settings and goes to sleep after inactivity to save battery. Works on ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
