——— # DesignFlow – AI Design Toolkit for POD Creators DesignFlow turns product images, mockups, and artwork found across the web into production-ready design assets—all inside one visual workspace. Whether you are researching products, preparing artwork for print-on-demand, removing backgrounds, improving image quality, or creating multiple mockup variations, DesignFlow helps you move from source image to finished asset without switching between multiple applications. Open DesignFlow from the browser toolbar, import an image from your computer, paste one from the clipboard, or right-click a supported image on a webpage and select Open image in DesignFlow. ## Detect and Extract Artwork Use Detect Design to identify and isolate the artwork inside a product image or mockup. Choose between square and rectangular selection areas, then move, resize, or rotate the selection until it matches the artwork. DesignFlow can straighten the selected region and crop it into a clean working image before processing. This is useful when artwork appears on: - T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and apparel - Product mockups and lifestyle images - Posters, signs, packaging, and printable products - Marketplace listings and product research pages DesignFlow supports common image formats, including PNG, JPG, JPEG, WebP, and AVIF. Images are validated before processing to prevent unsupported or excessively small assets from being submitted. ## Remove Image Backgrounds Create transparent artwork from designs that contain solid, white, dark, or distracting backgrounds. The result can be compared with the original image using an interactive before-and-after slider. You can also switch the preview background between transparent, white, black, or a custom color to inspect edges and transparency more accurately. After background removal, use the adjustment panel to refine: - Brightness - Contrast - Saturation - Highlights - Shadows - Sharpness - Hue - Warmth - Blend - Opacity These controls help prepare artwork for printing, mockup generation, or further editing. ## Upscale Artwork for POD Production Increase the resolution of small or extracted artwork while preserving the characteristics that matter for print-on-demand products. DesignFlow provides specialized upscale models for different types of source images: Standard Designed for POD photography, garments, models, and lifestyle mockups. It rebuilds natural fabric, lighting, and photographic details. Illustration Recommended for POD artwork, graphics, typography, logos, and digital illustrations. It improves edges, line clarity, and solid colors. Faithful Best for finished artwork with fine, distressed, or complex details. It minimizes AI reconstruction and focuses on preserving the original appearance. Choose 2× or the recommended 4× upscale option. The resulting image URL is loaded directly into the workspace to reduce browser memory usage when processing large files. ## Remix Images with AI Use natural-language instructions to modify the current image. You can add up to seven reference images and mention them directly inside your prompt. Reference images appear as compact thumbnails in the editor, making prompts easier to understand without filling the text area with long filenames. Example requests include: - Clean the artwork and preserve distressed details - Remove unwanted text - Change the color palette - Add a bold outline - Simplify complex shapes - Combine elements from a reference image - Adapt artwork to a new visual style Each successful result becomes the new main image, while previous results remain available in the Remix history. You can restore an earlier result and continue editing from that point. ## Generate Multiple Product Mockups DesignFlow includes a visual Mockup Canvas for applying one main design to multiple mockup images in parallel. Create reusable mockup collections, such as: - 2D apparel mockups - 3D apparel mockups - T-shirts - Sweatshirts and hoodies - Lifestyle photography - Posters and wall art - Product-specific collections Select up to seven mockups, write one shared instruction, and generate results for every selected target. The visual canvas shows how the main artwork connects to each mockup and displays each result as it becomes available. Mockup assets are stored locally in the extension using IndexedDB, helping avoid unnecessary uploads when managing reusable collections. ## Build Reusable Workflows Flows let you create reusable image-processing pipelines with a visual node editor. Available workflow nodes include: - Start Image - Detect Design - Remove Background - Upscale - Remix Image - Download Connect nodes to define how an image moves through each processing stage. Every node provides configurable settings relevant to its operation. Workflow tools include: - Drag-and-drop node positioning - Resizable nodes - Multi-node selection - Delete and restore actions - Undo and redo - Run an entire workflow - Run again from a selected node - Pause active processing - Animated connections while data is moving - Image previews for completed nodes - Local download as the final workflow action Workflows are saved in your browser and can be reused with a new main image whenever needed. ## Designed for a Faster POD Workflow DesignFlow is built for POD sellers, designers, product researchers, and creative teams who regularly move between product images, extracted graphics, transparent artwork, upscaled files, and mockup production. Instead of repeating the same steps across multiple tools, DesignFlow keeps the complete process in one focused workspace: 1. Import or capture an image 2. Detect the artwork 3. Remove the background 4. Upscale the design 5. Remix or refine it 6. Apply it to mockups 7. Download the finished result ## Privacy and Processing DesignFlow stores workspace information, workflows, placements, prompt presets, and reusable mockup assets locally in your browser where applicable. Images are sent to the configured DesignFlow processing service only when you explicitly run an AI operation such as detection, background removal, upscaling, remixing, or mockup generation. AI-generated results may vary depending on image quality, prompt clarity, selected model, and source content. Always review generated artwork before using it for production or commercial purposes. Turn product inspiration into reusable, production-ready artwork with DesignFlow.
