Design System Extractor

Extract design tokens, reviewed component crops, and original visual assets from the active page into a local ZIP.

Design System Extractor turns the visual language of the page in your active tab into a structured, local design-system package. Click Capture to inspect the current page for colors, typography, spacing, radii, shadows, motion, breakpoints, accessibility contrast pairs, component styles, open Shadow DOM content, and original visual assets. Optional screenshot mode finds useful visual sections across the page, temporarily scrolls each selected region into view, and presents individual crops for review. Original images, SVGs, CSS backgrounds and masks, video sources, and video posters appear as text-only review rows. Nothing is saved until you approve the items and click Download. The downloaded ZIP includes: - Design tokens in JSON, CSS custom-property, Tailwind theme, and Style Dictionary formats - Component inventories for buttons, inputs, cards, badges, and visual sections - Font, breakpoint, layout, interaction-state, and contrast metadata - Only the component crops you kept during review - Only the original visual assets you kept during review, plus an asset manifest Privacy is built into the workflow. The extension runs only on the active tab after your click, requests no persistent host access, and has no backend or analytics. It never reads form values, passwords, cookies, browser storage, other tabs, or Chrome browsing history. Temporary viewport images are discarded after individual crops are produced; the extension never creates a full-page screenshot. Checked original assets are requested from the page or its asset host only after you click Download. They are processed locally, placed in your ZIP, and never sent to the developer or an analytics service. Query strings and URL fragments are excluded from exported filenames and metadata. Animated SVG elements are preserved after scripts and other executable content are removed. Use Design System Extractor only on pages you own or are authorized to inspect, and review exported files before sharing them.
