Design QA Helper
Overview
Basic Chrome extension scaffold for design quality checks.
DesignQA is a Chrome extension for reviewing live websites with visual annotations, pinned comments, responsive viewport testing, QA checklists, and JSON export/import. It helps designers and developers catch layout issues, spacing problems, visual inconsistencies, missing states, and design-to-development mismatches directly on the webpage. What makes it different: With DesignQA, you can test different screen sizes, mark issues on the page, leave comments exactly where they apply, track fixes in a checklist, and export feedback as a JSON file for handoff or team review. Key features: - Test responsive layouts across selected viewport sizes - Pin comments directly on live webpages - Draw, highlight, and label UI issues - Manage a custom QA checklist - View all annotations in one organized list - Export QA feedback as JSON - Import JSON feedback from teammates - Keep feedback tied to the relevant page and screen size Privacy note: DesignQA works without requiring a backend account. Review data is saved locally in the browser and can be exported only when you choose to share it.
