Denoisr Voice Check
Overview
Check microphone and room audio quality locally before you record.
Denoisr Voice Check helps you catch common microphone and room-audio problems before a longer recording. Start a user-controlled test of up to 15 seconds, speak naturally, and receive a simple rating with measurements for average input level, peak level, clipping, silence, speech, and approximate background-noise floor. The extension then suggests up to three practical setup adjustments. What you can do: - Check whether your microphone input is too quiet or too loud. - Detect clipping that can create harsh distortion. - Estimate background noise during quieter moments. - Confirm the sample contains enough normal speech. - Play the local sample, download it, or test again. Privacy by design: - Audio recording and analysis happen locally on your device. - Nothing is uploaded during the microphone test. - No account, analytics, advertising, or tracking. - No access to tabs, browsing history, page content, or websites. - Recording begins only after your click and Chrome permission approval. - The test stops after 15 seconds or when you finish early. - Closing the popup discards the sample unless you downloaded it. The optional Denoisr button opens denoisr.com only after you click it. If you choose to use the separate Denoisr web service, uploading a recording there is optional and covered by the website privacy policy. Denoisr Voice Check is a quick browser-based setup check, not a calibrated sound-level meter or professional acoustic measurement system.
