Overview
Hear voice comms in a FACEIT CS2 demo: one click on the match room, tick players, get tv_listen_voice_indices. Nothing is uploaded.
Want to hear what the enemy team said in a CS2 demo? DemoVoice fetches it from the FACEIT match room, reads who played, and gives you the console command that turns on the voice comms of exactly the players you pick. The recording holds everyone's voice, but you hear nobody until you run tv_listen_voice_indices with the right number, and working that number out by hand means finding each player's slot and adding up bits. DemoVoice does that part for you. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a finished match room and press GET DEMO FILE under the match. 2. DemoVoice downloads the file, unpacks it and reads the players, all on your computer. 3. Tick who you want to listen to, copy the lines it gives you, start playback with playdemo and paste them into the console. WHAT YOU GET - Every player in the match with their team and slot number, read from the recording itself - All, All T and All CT buttons, or tick players one by one to hear a single teammate or opponent - An Everyone switch for the full voice chat of both teams - The exact commands, ready to copy: tv_listen_voice_indices, tv_listen_voice_indices_h, and playdemo with the file name - Save straight into your CS2 folder (beta): choose the csgo folder once and playdemo finds the file with no moving or renaming. Without it, files go to your downloads folder. - A list of the demos you have downloaded, so you can come back to one later - Matches with several maps: pick which map you want - Opens as a popup or in the browser's side panel, whichever you prefer - An optional notification when a long download finishes while you are in another tab or in the game PRIVATE BY DESIGN The demo never leaves your computer. DemoVoice asks the match page for the download link using the session you are already signed in with, downloads the file from the storage server it is published on, then unpacks and reads it locally. The demo is never uploaded. There is no account and no remote code. The only thing DemoVoice sends is anonymous usage counts, such as whether a download worked, and you control them in settings. Your demo list and settings stay in your browser's own storage. WHERE IT RUNS Only on CS2 match rooms. It asks for access to the match site and to the two storage hosts the files are served from, and to nothing else. DemoVoice is in beta. If something goes wrong, reload the match room and try again, and tell us what happened: https://zeroutil.com/contact/?product=demovoice How it works in detail: https://zeroutil.com/demovoice/ Privacy policy: https://zeroutil.com/demovoice/privacy/ DemoVoice is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by FACEIT or Valve.
