Overview
THIS EXTENSION IS FOR BETA TESTING. Record, edit, and export product demo videos locally.
DemoShots turns an unpolished product recording into a focused demo video without uploading the recording to DemoShots servers. Use the Chrome extension to select a browser tab, window, or display; optionally include camera, microphone, and source audio; and stop directly into the local editor. Shape the result with cursor movement, zooms, slides, captions, text, image overlays, framing, and timeline edits, then export the finished video on your device. Beta capabilities: • User-initiated tab, window, and display recording • Optional camera, microphone, and source audio • Local recording library and editor projects • Cursor reconstruction, clicks, zooms, slides, captions, text, and image overlays • Optional locally running Whisper caption model • Local video rendering and download DemoShots does not provide cloud backup, hosted share links, collaboration, accounts, or payments in this beta. Recordings, projects, transcripts, and exports remain on the user's device unless the user chooses to move or share an exported file.
