Overview
Pre-demo checklist for browser setup. Cursor halo and click highlight to keep your audience focused during live demos.
DemoFocus is a Chrome extension for solutions engineers, sales engineers, and anyone who runs live screen share demos. It covers two phases: setup before the demo starts, and focus tools that keep your audience oriented while you walk through the product. BEFORE THE DEMO: The built-in checklist prompts you through browser setup before you share your screen. Notifications silenced. Zoom reset. Correct environment loaded. The checklist does not track completions, it prompts recall. Close the panel and start the demo. DURING THE DEMO: Cursor halo places a visible ring around your cursor so your audience can see exactly where you are on screen. Four sizes let you match the ring to your screen share resolution. Click highlight confirms each click, so your audience registers every action as you take it. DISTRACTION CONTROL: Mute tab silences the active tab in one click. Reset Zoom resets every open tab to 100 percent on Apply. Both fire without interrupting your demo flow. PERMISSIONS: DemoFocus requests two permissions. The tabs permission is used to reset zoom and mute audio across your open tabs. The storage permission saves your toggle settings and checklist state between sessions. Also from DemoLayer: DemoTag labels every browser tab with the active demo persona so you always know which account or environment you are demoing as.
