Delete your own messages from your Reddit chats, without clicking through them one by one. Delete My Chat Messages for Reddit finds the messages you sent in your Reddit chats and deletes them for you. Open reddit.com/chat, click the toolbar icon, enter your username and start. WHAT IT DOES • Deletes only your own messages. Messages from other people are never touched. • Walks through your chat list and cleans each conversation in turn. • Clicks the "Yes, delete" confirmation for single messages so you don't have to. • Leaves anything that refers to a whole chat or conversation for you to decide. • Optionally hides chats that had none of your messages (off by default). • Paces itself with a rate limit and pauses while the tab is hidden. • Keeps running if you close the popup. Reopen it to see progress. SAFE BY DEFAULT Test mode is on by default. It counts the messages it would delete and deletes nothing, so you can check the numbers first. Test mode is never limited. Turn test mode off when you're ready. Deleting then starts straight away, with no second confirmation. Bought through Stripe on its checkout page, from inside the extension. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your Reddit data never leaves your browser. Your username, chat names, message content and run log are processed in memory only and never saved or sent. • No analytics, no ads, no tracking. • The only network requests go to our license server, and only for buying, activating or checking a license. They carry your license key and a random install ID, never anything from Reddit. • If you buy a license, we store your purchase email, license key and install IDs. We never sell or share them. • No access to all websites. It works on the one tab you open it on, and only after you click the icon. • No remote code. GOOD TO KNOW • Deleting a message here has the same effect as deleting it in Reddit. It can't be undone. • This is an unofficial tool. It reads Reddit's chat page, which Reddit can change at any time, so it may stop working after a site update.
