Dejavu is a link saver where every save has a lifespan. This extension connects your browser to the Dejavu desktop app. SAVE IN A FLICK • Open the Dejavu wheel over your browser and flick: Today, This week, Someday or Keep. • With a browser in front, the wheel grows four more slices: save the whole window, save and close the tab, screenshot the page, or let idle tabs go. FROM THE TOOLBAR • Pick a lifespan and a collection, then save this tab. • Save and close a whole window as one named session you can restore later. • Screenshot the visible page. RIGHT-CLICK • Right-click a page, link or selected text → Save to Dejavu → choose how long it lives, or have it summarized, turned into a task or researched. EVERY NEW TAB • See your next read, what's about to expire, and search the web. TAB AMNESTY (optional) • Tabs you haven't touched in a few hours are saved for 24 hours, then closed. Pinned and playing tabs are left alone, and nothing closes until Dejavu has saved it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • The extension only talks to the Dejavu app on your own computer (127.0.0.1). It holds no passwords or tokens. • Private and incognito windows are never reported or saved.
