Default Quality Adjuster for YouTube™

YT kept forcing max 4k resolution on me with constant buffering and this extension allowed me to force it down. I was turning crazy. Godsend!

Awesome add on thank you. I was using Auto HD/4k/8k for YouTube™ - YouTube™ Auto HD but it seems to collect data. This is a nice alternative

Doesn't work when switching to high resolutions like 4k or 2k. Even after selecting the resolution to 4k, the video on youtube plays on 1080p.

Hi, the extension works correctly for 2K and 4K resolutions. However, if the video itself doesn't support 2K or 4K, the extension won't be able to force that resolution. Please ensure the video supports the desired resolution. If the issue persists, feel free to provide more details so we can assist further.

Works.

Took a minute for it to kick in, but it works great now! I listen to videos, and dont watch them, so 144p is plenty for me. Since YouTube doesnt allow you to set the default on PC, this is a must. Thank you!

I can't believe this feature wasn't part of youtube itself, but this extension does what it claims to with no issues.

I've tried of few of these YouTube quality extensions that did absolutely nothing. This one actually works. Great job.
