DefangIt is a handy Chrome extension that simplifies the process of defanging and refanging text within your web browser. Whether you're dealing with IP Addresses, Domains, URLs, or any other text that needs to be sanitised for security or readability, DefangIt makes it easy. ---------- Usage ---------- Defang/Refang Selected Text: 1. Select the text on the page 2. Click the extension icon in the extension bar on the top right side of the browser, or right-click and hover the mouse over DefangIt. 3. Select Defang or Refang. The selected text will be replaced with the defanged or refanged version based on selection. Defang/Refang Page: 1. Click the extension icon in the extension bar on the top right side of the browser, or right-click anywhere on the page, then hover the mouse over DefangIt. 2. Select Defang Page or Refang Page. All artefacts (IP Address, Domain, URL) on the current web page will be replaced with the defanged or refanged version based on selection.
