Deep Tab Search lets you search inside the actual content of all your open browser tabs not just titles and URLs by keyword or meaning. Find that paragraph, heading, or concept you remember seeing somewhere, even if you do not recall the exact words or the language it was in. When you search, it matches your query against this cached content using word matching, synonym expansion, fuzzy matching, BM25 term-frequency ranking, and a multilingual neural embedding model (Xenova/multilingual-e5-small) that runs entirely in your browser to capture meaning beyond exact words. KEYBOARD SHORTCUT Press Alt+S (Option+S on Mac) to instantly open the search popup. Arrow keys to navigate, Enter to switch to a tab. PRIVACY Everything stays local. Page content is extracted and cached in your browser's IndexedDB. No data is sent to any server. The extension only reads pages you already have open. The AI model (~118 MB) is downloaded once from Hugging Face and cached locally; after that, all embedding and search runs offline. Nothing is sent to any server.
