Overview

Expert-level static SEO analysis in Chrome's side panel

DeepSEO is a static SEO analyzer that lives in Chrome's native Side Panel — so you can read the live page and the full analysis at the same time, no popup required. WHAT IT ANALYZES DeepSEO runs 25+ checks across 11 specialist tabs, on demand when you click "Analyze this page": • Summary — Overall score (0–100) with letter grade (A–F), top 5 issues, and quick wins. Each issue links directly to the relevant tab. Category scores are clickable to jump straight to that section. • On-Page — Title tag with character counter (50–60 ideal), meta description (150–160 ideal), full H1–H6 heading hierarchy, canonical tag, robots meta, lang attribute, and hreflang tags. • Content — Word count, content-to-HTML ratio, paragraph count, Flesch-Kincaid reading level estimate, duplicate H1 detection, thin content warnings. • Links — Live broken link checker (async HEAD requests, 5 concurrent). Distinguishes true 404s from access-restricted (401/403) URLs. Filter by type (internal/external) and status; sort issues to the top by default. Click any link to open it in a new tab. • Images — Missing alt text list, lazy loading coverage %, oversized image warnings (>1200px), WebP/AVIF vs legacy format breakdown. • Schema — All JSON-LD blocks parsed and expandable, schema @types detected, Open Graph tags, Twitter Card tags. • Technical — Viewport meta, charset, canonical self-reference check, meta refresh detection, URL length/depth analysis. • AEO (AI Engine Optimization) — Checks robots.txt for AI crawler permissions (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended), detects llms.txt and llms-full.txt, evaluates content extractability signals for AI models. • E-E-A-T — Google's quality rater framework: Experience (publication/modified dates, first-person language), Expertise (named authors, Person schema, about page), Authoritativeness (organization identity, breadcrumbs, outbound citations, .edu/.gov links), Trustworthiness (HTTPS, privacy/contact/terms pages, review schema). Each signal has an educational tooltip. • Keywords — Body keyword frequency table with coverage tags showing whether each keyword appears in the title, H1, and meta description. Meta keywords tag display, missed optimization opportunities flagged. • History — Persistent log of the last 50 pages analyzed with scores, timestamps, and full snapshots (including link check results). Click any entry to replay the full analysis instantly. Navigate to a previously-analyzed page and the snapshot loads automatically. KEY FEATURES ✓ Side panel layout — page and analysis are always visible simultaneously ✓ On-demand analysis — no auto-scanning; you control when to analyze ✓ Smart history — returns to last snapshot when revisiting a known page, with one-click re-analysis ✓ Download full report as a Markdown file — share with your team or feed to an AI coding agent to fix issues ✓ Inline tooltips teach SEO and E-E-A-T concepts — hover any technical term to learn what it means ✓ 100% client-side — no account, no backend, no data sent anywhere ✓ Persistent history stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) ✓ SPA-aware — detects React Router, Next.js, and other client-side navigation ✓ Dark theme, compact design optimized for Chrome's 400px side panel PRIVACY DeepSEO does not collect, transmit, or store any user data outside your own browser. All analysis runs locally. The only outbound network requests are: HEAD requests to check link status on the page you're viewing, and fetches for robots.txt/llms.txt from the same domain you're analyzing. No analytics. No telemetry. No accounts. Requires Chrome 114+ for Side Panel API support.
