DeepMeta Never Sleep
Overview
Prevents your computer from sleeping during active DeepMeta file uploads
DeepMeta4 Helper Extension for iStock / Getty Images Contributors If you use DeepMeta4 for iStock / Getty Images uploads, this browser extension adds several small but useful improvements to the upload process, brief-management workflow, and overall user experience. MAIN FEATURES 1. Prevents your computer from sleeping during long upload sessions The extension works in the background and helps prevent your computer from going to sleep or hibernating while DeepMeta4 uploads are in progress. 2. Google Tasks integration for brief management DeepMeta4 has excellent tools for managing Creative and Custom Content briefs, but selected briefs remain inside DeepMeta4. To review them, you normally have to open DeepMeta again. This extension lets you connect DeepMeta4 with Google Tasks. When you like a brief in DeepMeta4, the extension creates a Google Task containing: - the brief name; - the deadline; - a link to the ESP brief details page. Creative and Custom Content briefs are sorted into separate task lists. You may select or own lists. If you didn't select lists before you start liking briefs, plugin will create new ones "CC Briefs" and "Creative Briefs" automatically. You can then see these tasks in Google Calendar, add Google Tasks widgets to your phone or tablet, and keep selected briefs visible as part of your daily workflow. I recommend CalenGoo for users who want more advanced widget-management options. ADDITIONAL FEATURES (TEMPORARY) These features will be removed if and when the same functionality is added to the main application. 3. Restore batch list position When you scroll through a long batch list, open a batch, and then return to the list, DeepMeta4 normally sends you back to the top. This can be annoying when you need to go through multiple batches. The extension remembers your previous scroll position, so when you return to the batch list, you come back to the same place. 4. Preserve search results When you search for batches in DeepMeta4, the search results normally disappear after you open one of the found batches. This extension preserves the search results until you clear them manually. SIMPLE CONTROLS Pin the extension to your browser toolbar. The extension icon changes state to show the current sleep-protection status: - Idle - Active - Error Click the icon to open the settings popup, where you can connect or disconnect your Google account, and individually turn on or off: - sleep prevention; - batch list position restoration; - search result preservation PRIVACY This extension does not collect, track, sell, share, or provide third-party access to your data in any form.
