Decibel Meter – Live dB Pulse puts a live sound-level estimate in your browser side panel while you work. Start the microphone when you need it, then see a large dB reading, safety-colour gauge, min/average/max, session Leq, and a rolling 60-second graph. The toolbar badge shows the latest level while measuring. Choose A or Z weighting, adjust calibration against a trusted meter, and set a threshold and duration for a sustained-noise notification. The panel also includes locally generated white, pink, and brown noise with a stop timer, plus a low-volume tone generator. Copy or share a reading when you choose. Microphone audio is processed locally in memory. It is never recorded, uploaded, or used for analytics. The extension is free, has no ads, and supports 16 languages. Readings are estimates. Device microphones vary; use a calibrated sound level meter for official or safety-critical measurements.
