Alternative Tab Retitler
Overview
Give tabs useful names with regex-powered URL rules.
Take control of crowded browser tabs with precise, readable titles. Alternative Tab Retitler renames tabs automatically using regular-expression URL rules and reusable title templates. Create a rule directly from the current tab, preview the result before saving, and manage every rule from a clean, modern dashboard. Features: • Create regex URL rules from the current tab • Use named captures such as ${repo} and ${path} • Use numbered captures such as $1 • Keep the original page title with ${original} • Preview every title before applying it • Enable, disable, edit, and delete rules • Optionally use bookmark names when no rule matches • Get a reusable organization-scoped suggestion on GitHub repository pages • Sync rules and settings through Chrome Sync Example: https://github.com/example-org/sample-repo/pulls/123 becomes sample-repo/pulls/123 Bookmark access is optional and requested only when you enable Bookmark fallback. URLs, page titles, and bookmark names are processed in your browser. Alternative Tab Retitler does not send browsing data to the developer or third parties.
