Helps me find videos I want to watch, not just avoid ones I don't want to watch. I've found super helpful or entertaining videos that just were titled wrong. "Murky divers" was titled "Lethal company 2" I thought "Lethal company 2" was either Content Warning or Scrappys Contract, neither of which i cared about. Now i get to see a cool new video i wanted to watch. Also in a series, many youtubers put different clever names for each episode, so it's hard to find "Terraria episode 3" but DeArro... Show more

No more gaping-mouth huge clickbait text thumbnails. The internet is healing.

You are probably pressing the keybind to disable it (Shift + E). It is too easy to click, so I'm going to change that in the next update. For now, you can manually change it by going to DeArrow settings -> Keyboard Shortcuts

This is really clever, but with playlists it's kind of buggy. The playlist thumbnail is based on the auto-generated or voted thumbnail of the first video, which makes sense, but setting a new playlist thumbnail just changes the background color and not the actual image

Be warned: DeArrow is not freeware and requires a license key to use. Since it's unusable without a license, it gets one star.

You can use DeArrow for free, forever, by clicking "I can't/don't want to pay"

Edit: It works now. Old review: Broken for me. It was working for a few weeks then just a day ago it stopped letting me view the non clickbait version.

Check the dearrow popup by clicking the dearrow icon in the top left of your browser (you might have to click the puzzle piece first). Check if the "enabled" slider there is on. It looks like the keybind to disable it is too easy to mis-press so some people have been accidentally disabling it, will look into changing it.

I know some people are mad at titles that are pretty good being obliterated by some "nerd that thinks their description fits the title better", and you can change that, I have disliked many bad title changes, and made sure to like the original title so it stays. Yes, It is community driven, for better or for worse. But you can contribute in making sure it's for the better. Edit: And a quick example of a video I was watching while writing this review, OG: The most controversial children's ... Show more

I would love to add a positive review, but I really can't. I have to pay for not seeing dumb titles? No free version is working for me, tested free trial. I have to see a lot of popups for not seeing clickbait titles? Youtube have to be slower and glitching for just removing clickbait in some videos? Guys, run some crowdfunding to earn money, you can get more money this way - some can pay, others can't And you have to polish this, idea is nice and all, but right now you don't really differ ...
