De-Trump quietly swaps every mention of Donald Trump on any web page with a random satirical nickname — a different one each time, so no two headlines read alike. WHAT IT DOES • Replaces full names ("Donald Trump", "Donald J. Trump", "President Trump") as well as standalone "Donald" and "Trump" • Also rewrites the tab title, so the name disappears from your tab bar too • Picks a random nickname for every occurrence, keeping pages entertaining instead of repetitive • Works on dynamically loaded content: infinite scroll, live feeds, and single-page apps WHAT IT LEAVES ALONE • Partial words — "trumpet", "Trumpism" and "McDonald's" are never touched • Anything you type — form fields, comment boxes, and editable text are skipped • Code blocks and technical content SIMPLE CONTROLS Click the toolbar icon to toggle the extension ON or OFF. A badge shows the current state, and turning it off takes effect immediately — just reload a page to see the original text again. PRIVATE BY DESIGN De-Trump runs entirely in your browser. It collects no data, makes no network requests, contains no ads and no tracking. It only changes how pages are displayed on your own screen — the websites themselves are never modified.
