background theme not showing

theme is only showing in tabs ,even I open the new tab, the theme is not showing in the background, how to solve this? i uninstalled the theme and again installed but still i'm facing the same problem, help me.

Purple Ambiance Theme

I change my former theme for this "Purple Ambiance" but Chrome still shows me the previous picture, I have even unistalled Chrome but the problem persist ! PLEASE HELP
