Overview

Save the research paper you are reading — metadata, BibTeX, and PDF — to your Literati library in one click.

Requires the free Literati desktop app (literati.ai). The extension pairs with the app on your computer and saves papers into your Literati library. Open a paper page, click the Literati icon, and pick a project. The paper lands in your library with clean bibliographic metadata, BibTeX, and the PDF stored on your device where it is openly available. The Literati app can also ask the extension to fetch papers for you, such as the references of a paper you imported. It works on arXiv abstract pages, Semantic Scholar paper pages, and the NeurIPS and PMLR proceedings sites. When a download needs your help (for example, behind a publisher login), the extension opens the page and shows a small banner so you can finish it yourself. Privacy: no analytics, no tracking, no third-party services. Everything the extension captures goes only to the Literati app running on your own computer.
