RightFormat is a free Chrome extension that converts images when you save them using a dedicated right-click command. Choose an output rule for each supported source format, then select “Save image with RightFormat.” Your saved rule is applied automatically before the image is downloaded. Features: • Convert WebP, AVIF, PNG, and JPG images • Save as Original, PNG, JPG, or WebP • Process images locally in Chrome—no uploads or conversion server • Protect transparent backgrounds by using PNG when JPG would remove transparency • Preserve animated images in their original format • Create predictable filenames and avoid accidental overwrites • Choose whether Chrome asks where to save each file • Switch between light and dark mode RightFormat does not replace Chrome’s built-in “Save Image As…” command. Use the dedicated “Save image with RightFormat” option when you want your format rules applied. No account is required. Images and conversion preferences are not sent to 23Bit Studio.
