DBOPFS Studio

Overview
A DBOPFS-powered OPFS workspace for Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera, and other Chromium browsers.
DBOPFS Studio makes browser-native storage OPFS easy to inspect and manage. Connect Studio to the current site from its toolbar button, or connect it to the inspected page through the dedicated DBOPFS Studio launcher panel in DevTools. Studio opens a focused, local workspace for the selected site origin. It works with regular OPFS directories and files while also recognizing DBOPFS applications, tables, and records. Main features - Browse regular Origin Private File System directories and files. - Navigate structured application data using familiar application, table, and record concepts. - Review storage usage, available quota, persistence status, and discovered data totals. - Create applications, tables, and records; import files; and export an application. - Edit supported text records and validate JSON before saving. - View formatted Markdown, JSON, and JavaScript alongside exact source. - Preview browser-supported images, audio, and video. - Open PDFs in Chrome's native PDF viewer. - Print supported text, JSON, Markdown, and image records. - Delete records with exact-name confirmation. DBOPFS is optional Studio works with regular OPFS data without requiring DBOPFS. When a site uses DBOPFS, Studio adds higher-level organization and database-oriented workflows that make structured browser data easier to understand and maintain. If that workflow is useful for your application, explore DBOPFS here: Documentation and playground: https://thewizardnexus.github.io/DBOPFS/ Source repository: https://github.com/TheWizardNexus/DBOPFS npm package: https://www.npmjs.com/package/dbopfs Install with: npm install dbopfs Local by design Studio requires no cloud account and includes no analytics, advertising, or cloud synchronization service. It is designed not to send inspected OPFS contents to The Wizard Nexus or to an analytics, advertising, or profiling service. Processing remains in the browser unless you deliberately export, download, copy, or print data. Permissions The extension requests storage and access to HTTP(S) websites. Website access lets its dormant, isolated bridge work with the origin-private storage of the one live tab you explicitly select. The storage permission temporarily hands one selected record to Studio's print page, which removes the temporary entry after reading it. The extension does not request tabs or downloads permission, use remote code, or request access to an online account. Origin and browser boundaries Studio works with one selected live origin at a time. Protocol, hostname, and port define that origin, so unrelated sites remain isolated. Browser-internal pages, extension stores, and other protected pages are unavailable. Requires Chrome 109 or later. Native PDF capabilities vary by Chrome version and device. DBOPFS Studio is source-available under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0. Commercial use requires a separate written license from The Wizard Nexus.
