Overview
Add torrents from Chrome to the JSTorrent app on desktop or Chromebook.
Add and manage torrents from Chrome with JSTorrent. Install JSTorrent Desktop on Windows, macOS or Linux, or the JSTorrent Android app on a supported Chromebook. Open the native app, connect the extension and approve pairing when asked. This extension requires the native app. • Add magnet links and .torrent files • View transfer progress and manage your torrent library • Use the native app directly whenever you prefer The native app handles torrent connections, downloads and file storage. On Chromebooks, the Android app and the separate ChromeOS Linux preview keep separate libraries, settings and download folders. The browser library is available in 19 languages. The extension's setup and connection pages are translated too. Language availability in the native app depends on its installed version. If an update is still rolling out, use your installed native app and try again later. Updating does not require clearing your library. Linux desktop support is best effort; check the website for system requirements and headless instructions. Setup and support: https://jstorrent.com
