Overview

Maps tab branches and navigations into a local visual browsing trail.

Traceboard turns the relationships created while browsing into a spatial trail. When a page navigates or a link opens a new tab, Traceboard records the page address, title, timing, and parent relationship needed to draw that path. Open the board to inspect branches, fit a large trail to the canvas, focus the route leading to a selected page, pin useful nodes, attach short private notes, and reopen a recorded page. Traceboard is intentionally not a full browser-history replacement and it does not read webpage body content. Its purpose is to preserve the structure of a browsing session: where a branch started, which page followed another page, and which nodes were worth keeping. Trail data and notes remain in Chrome extension storage on the current browser profile. There is no Traceboard account, cloud sync, analytics SDK, advertising system, remote AI service, or Traceboard backend. The board is a local interface for the local trail.
